Give Thanks for new beginnings.

22 Nov

Where would we be if we couldn’t begin again?  Nowhere, that’s where.  Try a hula-hoop, it drops, no second chance.  Start a daily walking routine and miss a week, no more walks.  Piss off the soup Nazi, “No soup for You!”  Without new beginnings life would be brutal and short.  Since beginning again is possible I think I’ll be thankful for it and begin this blog again…

I’m writing to you from my Sister’s lair.  For days now, we have been stampin’, cookin’, cannin’ and baking like mad.  But, there’s only one day left before I return to Colorado and both Michelle and I turn our attention to turkeys and family.   Sad as it is to go, ending our playtime is easier when we have fun holidays ahead.  Life is good, isn’t it?

(pajama day… making cards, canning, baking and having fun with my sister, Michelle)

So, what does one do in Michelle Zindorf’s fully decked out Stampin’Up studio?  First become overwhelmed and twitchy.  Then, after much coaching, timidly  release some creativity and eventually end up with 80+ cards and fun memories for a lifetime!  I’m excited about returning to Boulder and putting those cards in the Project Give Thanks baskets!!!

.

I’ve always imagined how difficult it is for PGT’s supporters to part with their creative work and I’m amazed at how gracefully all of you do it.  There’s no crying, whining, take-backs or anything from you gals!  I, on the other hand, took photos of my cards so I can remember them. Hopefully, after I make hundreds more, like you do, I won’t need to do that anymore  😉

Thanks Snowman cards…

Sending all of you Thanksgiving Hugs,

Sonja

PS Don’t forget…

So glad you’re back, have missed your posts! Hope everyone is well, especially Russ. Looks like you girls have been making some beautiful cards. Stamping/crafting is so much more fun with two (or more) and I’m sure Michelle’s craft room just breeds creativity judging by the amount of cards you got done. You have done Project Give Thanks Proud, Sonja. Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed holiday season!!

      Hi Sheri,

Thank you for those wonderful complements. Yes, Michelle and I can make a lot of cards in a room devoted just to doing that. It’s the Starship Enterprise of card making! If only we wouldn’t giggle so much. Michelle love cracking’ on my total lack of understanding and ability to make a decision. All in fun.

Sheri I really appreciate your interest and comment. Comments like yours help me to remember to blog as life is sooooo busy I need the reminders. Thanks.

      Holliday Hugs,
      Sonja
